Celebrity Halloween Costume Ideas

Halloween is only five short days away, but luckily there’s still time to create the perfect costume. A popular theme among Halloween costumes is dressing up as a celebrity. If you’ve ever wanted to be a celebrity, well now is your chance. On Halloween, you can be anyone you want to be.

Here are the top famous people costumes for Halloween this year to dress up as:

Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump

Or, any politician really. Bernie Sanders? Go for it! Bill Clinton? Sure! With the general election less than two weeks away, Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump costumes are a big hit at parties. Go as a couple (Hillary and Bill) or as rivals (Hillary and Donald). The possibilities are endless.

You can go all out and dress the entire part, or, purchase one of the parodic Donald or Hillary masks. I’d hurry, though. Trump masks are outselling Hillary masks…

Olsen Twins

For this costume, both “twins” will need an edgy, all-black¬†outfit, “designer” handbags, and big black shades to cover their eyes.

If you want to get really creative with this costume, invite another one of your friends along and have her dress up as the Scarlet Witch from Marvel’s Avengers (played by their younger sister Elizabeth Olsen).

Nicki Minaj & Taylor Swift

Nicki Minaj has been in the spotlight a lot this year, and she’s certainly a fun celebrity to dress up as. And she can’t dress up all by herself–she needs rival-turned-best-friend Taylor Swift by her side! Nicki has a number of outfits you can imitate or you can come up with your own–just remember she loves lots of colors and big accessories. Dressing as Taylor is simple–just don’t forget the sparkles, cat eyeliner, and the microphone! You could even walk around with a stuffed cat to resemble one of her real cats.

Prince

You can pay tribute to the late pop icon, Prince, this Halloween. All you’ll need is some black pants, pointed shoes, a white shirt and a long purple coat or blazer. These are things you can find at a thrift store or you can purchase the entire costume here.

A 2016 Olympian

With the Summer Olympics, popular Halloween costumes will be any one of the Olympians. Ryan Lochte or any of the girls from the USA Women’s Gymnastics team are popular ideas! All you really need is to dress in red, white and blue (sports jacket or dress the part), and make sure you have a gold medal around your neck.
