New Fall 2016 TV Shows You Have to Watch

As summer starts dwindling down there is always one thing that almost everyone looks forward to – the return of fall television shows. While we all are attached and excited for returning shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, American Horror Story, Once Upon a Time, Modern Family, and other popular shows, we can’t help but get excited about new TV shows that get released each fall. This is Us

Premiering on NBC Tuesday, September 20th, This Is Us will feature a unique storyline of individuals who all have the same birthday and are all expecting some major life changes as they turn 36. The series unfolds as paths are crossed and life stories intertwine. This emotional drama is said to become NBC’s next huge hit and features Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Justin Hartley, and other popular stars.



This new American drama television series will be airing Thursdays this fall on ABC, and will be taking the time slot of when Scandal normally airs (as the show is on break until January). Notorious takes a provocative look at the dangerous interplay of criminal law and the media as it follows a defense attorney and TV producer. One of ABC’s most highly-anticipated new TV shows is said to be a political thriller full of drama and will continuous keep you wanting more. Designated Survivor is about how the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development is now next in line to be President after a bomb kills the President and all other members of the Cabinet at the State of Union address. From the same creator of Parks and Recreation (Mike Schur) now brings you a new comedy to watch on NBC called The Good Place. This show features the lovely Kristen Bell who dies in a tragic accident and wakes up to find herself now in heaven. She meets a guide in heaven (Ted Danson) who helps her with self-improvement and she struggles to stay in the afterlife or find a way to return to her life on Earth. The show is set to air on Monday, September 19th.


The Exorcist

Looking for something a little more scary? Based on the movie that has the same name, The Exorcist television show will follow two different preists tackling one family’s case of demonic possession. The cast consists of Alfonso Herrera, Greena Davis, Alan Ruck, and other popular actors. The Exorcist is set to air on Fox on Friday, September 23rd.
