Celeb Breakups of Summer 2016

The unofficial end of summer is just around the corner. Since we have to breakup with our white pants in the near future, only to get back together with them in May, we thought it was a good idea to take a look back at some of the biggest celeb breakups of the summer.

Kat Dennings & Josh Groban

The nerdy couple seemed to be a perfect match, but they decided to split this summer after nearly two years together. The singer and actress had a mutual breakup according to a source and remain friends. The source also made it sound like they could rekindle their relationship in the future.

HOW COULD THESE TWO BREAK UP? They seemed perfect together. They both worshiped the ground each other walked on, but after five years together, they decided to end their engagement. A huge shocker to many.

Taylor Swift & Calvin Harris

Shortly after going on an extravagant vacation to celebrate their one-year anniversary, the two parted ways. There has been drama ever since, but when isn’t there drama with T. Swift. The split was amicably at first, but then Taylor jumped right into a new relationship with Tom Hiddleston. The breakup spiraled out of control from there and it hasn’t really stopped.

The on-and-off couple of roughly six years went their separate ways this summer. The couple has been through a lot through the years, but decided they were ultimately better as friends. They announced their split in a joint statement on both of their Instagram accounts.

Iggy Azalea & Nick Young

The couple met in 2014, but had a rough go after the early honeymoon phase. In March 2016, a video which was leaked by Young’s own Lakers teammate showed him admitted to cheating on Iggy. Despite the cheating rumors, the couple seemed to work out their differences, until the end of June. The couple announced their split, after Iggy caught Young cheating on home security footage.
