It seems like every summer the movie theaters have the best lineup of anticipated box office hits. Already this summer, we’ve seen popular movies like Captain American: Civil War and the heartwarming love story Me Before You hit cinemas across the country. Now You See Me: The Second Act

Release Date: June 10, 2016
Now You See Me 2 is the sequel to the 2013 summer magical heist movie. The Four Horsemen (Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Lizzy Caplan) return for a second movie, using their Robin Hood-style magic acts to expose the unethical practices of a tech magnate. Finding Dory

Release Date: June 17, 2016
Remember all those years ago we went on an adventure to find Nemo? In this new tale, we follow Marlin and Nemo on their adventure to find the adorable, forgetful, blue tang Dory. Independence Day Resurgence

Release Date: June 24, 2016
After the original Independence Day defined the adventure and Sci-Fi movie genre, this next amazing chapter will deliver an epic story of saving the world from extinction. While several characters will return from the first film, Will Smith will not. However, the movie will follow the stepson of Will Smith’s character.

The Legend of Tarzan

Release Date: July 1, 2016
The Legend of Tarzan is a much different story than the Disney tale we are used to. This movie will follow Tarzan after leaving the jungles of Africa to live a more “human” life with his wife, Jane. The Secret Life of Pets

Release Date: July 8, 2016
Do you wonder what your pets do while you’re at home or at school? Well, this new adventure brought to us from the creators of Despicable Me follows the story of Max and Duke, two rivaling pets sharing the same owner. Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates

Welcome to the big screen yet another classic Zac Efron movie (but we’re totally okay with that). Along with Neighbors 2 this summer, Zac Efron hits the big screen again along with Adam Devine and Anna Kendrick. The title of the movie says it all: Mike and Dave are looking for wedding dates, and they go to extremes to find them. Star Trek Beyond

Suicide Squad

Suicide Squad is this summer’s much-anticipated DC superhero/villain movie. When a secret government agency must turn to the most villainous and hated anti-heroes in the DC Comic world for a black ops mission in exchange for forgiveness of their past actions, you can expect that a lot goes down. With villains like The Joker, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, Deadshot, and so many more, this movie is expected to be an epic action-packed film.
