Best Pop Culture Halloween Costumes of 2015

Halloween is a little over a week away and that means it’s time for last-minute costume shopping (for most of us who wait until the last few days to decide what we’re going to be). This year, it seems to be all about pop culture… and, polticians? With the Presidential Primaries being big news right now, it’s like all anyone wants to be is Donald Trump. Then there’s the typical Beyonce costume.

Pop culture themes always dominate the Halloween costume trend each year, and here are the costumes you’re likely to see everywhere this Halloween:

Left Shark

Left Shark
Remember when Left Shark was the only thing anyone could talk about after Katy Perry’s iconic halftime show appearance at the Super Bowl? (or was it really Left Shark’s halftime Super Bowl show?) Either way, the uncoordinated, out-of-sync dancing shark was a hit, and no one will argue that Left Shark stole the show. Find the costume here.

Donald Trump

Donald Trump
If you’re willing to take the chance, the Donald Trump costume is all the rage, at least, in more of a joking manner. Donlad Trump has been front-running most of the Republican party during the Presidential Primaries, and to most people–it’s a bit shocking. So why not go as everyone’s favorite “politician”? You’ll find plenty of Donlad Trump masks, wigs, and costumes on Amazon.

Margarita Man (Jimmy Buffett) from Jurassic World

Jimmy Buffett
When Jurassic World premiered, there was something a bit funny about a scene involving attackingĀ pterodactyls and hundreds of running tourists. In the bunch, was none other than Jimmy Buffett himself, making sure to sweep up the two margaritas sitting at his restaurant, “Margaritaville.” At first, he looked like an ordinary man running away with some drinks in handĀ (apparently margaritas takes presendence over your own life), but soon after the film released, Jimmy Buffett announced that the running “Margarita Man” was indeed himself. This costume can easily be a DIY project with a hat, sunglasses, a coral-colored shirt, and a couple margaritas in hand.
