How to Hang on When you Want to Give Up

Have you ever gotten home from work and felt like you had been severely beaten up?  You are mentally drained, physically exhausted, and questioning what it is all really worth.  What if you felt like this every day?  How do you hang on when you feel like throwing in the towel?

All of us go through tough days, difficult projects, heavy workloads, and demanding schedules.  So what prevents people from giving up and throwing in the towel?  Well, there are plenty of reasons why people hang in there.  Some reasons that come to mind:

  • Money
  • Security
  • Health Benefits
  • Enjoy the people they work with
  • Don’t want to look for something else
  • Career Growth and…
  • BECAUSE THEY ARE STRONG AND WILL PERSEVERE BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEIR SUCCESS DEPENDS ON IT AND IT IS WORTH STICKING IT OUT

“Many of life’s failures are men who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”

Thomas A. Edison
